Vacuum team

  Our team is working on development of oxygen-free Pd/Ti as a novel non-evaporable getter and its applied research and promoting a surface physics research using synchrotron lights.

2023.5.31 Dr. Kazuhiko Mase, a vacuum team leader, received the JVSS Society Award from the Japan Society of Vacuum and Surface Science. (In Japanese)

2021.3.4  Masato Ono, a KEK Special Research Student, was awarded the Young Scientist Presentation Award at the 2020 Annual Meeting of the Japan Society of Vacuum and Science. (In Japanese)

  We are recruting college students who are interested in the development of new non-evaporable getters and the surface physics research using synchrotron lights. We accepts students from wide range of fields regardless of their under graduate majors. There have been a variety of students who have conducted research with our team so far.
